Brandy Brey, CPM, LM
Birth is a personal experience, and choosing the care that fits your need is an essential part of your pregnancy. Wherever you choose to have your baby, you should be fully informed, well supported, and feel empowered by your choices. Midwifery care is individualized - it includes education, counseling, and support. As a midwife, mother, and woman, I am passionate about women’s health. I trust women’s bodies and wisdom. Helping women as they grow, nurture, and birth their babies is an honor and privilege. I work closely with other health care professionals to ensure the health and safety of both mother and baby. Drawing from my personal and professional experience, I offer thoughtful attention to women on their journey into motherhood. I will nurture and respect your birth story as it unfolds.
Midwifery inspired me in 1997, when I attended my first birth as labor support. In 2005 I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communication and English, which has been beneficial both personally and professionally. I began pursuing midwifery studies after the birth of my second child in 2008; completed an academic program in midwifery in 2012; and apprenticed with two Wisconsin licensed midwives. In 2015 I became a Wisconsin licensed midwife, and I am blessed to be working with a supportive community of midwives.
Two licensed midwives attend each birth to ensure the safety and care of both mother and baby. I assist families with their out of hospital birth, both in their home and at Well Rounded Maternity Center. I serve Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, Waukesha, Milwaukee, and surrounding areas.
