Lactation Support Drop-in Hour

Support is a big component of a successful breastfeeding journey. In our drop-in lactation support hour our goal is to provide an environment of encouragement and a safe space to talk about the big emotions and challenges that can come along in a breastfeeding journey.

We offer help with solving minor breastfeeding issues, latching techniques and tips on comfortable positioning, coming up with plans for going back to work, supply concerns, baby weigh-ins, and many other topics. If you need further assistance or consultation for more complex breastfeeding issues we have many referal resources on hand in order to help you find the right help you need.

Drop in on every first and third Friday from 9:30-10:30am

La Leche League’s mission is to help mothers breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education.  They work to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

Meetings are a great way to connect with other parents and knowledgeable La Leche League leaders, both during pregnancy and after your baby has been born.  Ask questions and discuss breastfeeding and parenting topics.

Visit the  C.A.R.E. Network website  for a full listing of all La Leche League meetings in the Greater Milwaukee Area.
