What you need to know to be confidant in an emergency situation, so that you can help someone until help arrives.  You will receive  Red Cross Certification at the conclusion of this class, if you pass the test.

• Checking an ill or injured person
• Soft tissue injuries
• Injuries to muscles, bones, & joints
• Sudden illness
• Heat & cold-related injuries
• Injury prevention
• Child & infant safety checklist
• What's in a first aid kit

CPR includes choking, rescue breathing, & chest compressions.
