A Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Heather has been facilitating optimal health and healing in her clients since 2011. She graduated from Kanyamukari Ayurveda & Yoga Center (Glendale, WI) where she was also trained in Panchakarma body therapies; practicing there until their close in 2016. Starting in 2013, she was a faculty member for the Ayurvedic Health Counselor professional training program and continues to supervise interns. Her extensive training includes women’s health, pregnancy, and bodywork at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Wellness (Stockbridge, MA) and Panchakarma at Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Healing Village (Coimbatore, India).
Her specialty is women’s reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy, post-partum issues, menopause, and pediatrics. However, she maintains a general practice seeing all individuals who seek holistic wellness. She is also experienced in digestive health, Ayurvedic detoxification, and custom herbal formulations.
She is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and an active member of the Ayurvedic Association of Wisconsin.
Heather is also a yoga teacher in the Kripalu tradition and continues to study with master teachers. Her 500-hour certification will be complete in 2020. She has been on faculty at Yama Yoga for their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training since 2011 teaching Ayurveda and Prenatal Yoga.
She teaches group prenatal and postnatal classes at Well-Rounded Maternity Center and offers private yoga sessions including birth preparation, breathing exercises, relaxation, and meditation techniques to women and their families.
