Whether you are an expectant first time parent or a veteran caregiver looking to add babywearing to your repertoire, there is room for you at our monthly babywearing classes.
We will be demonstrating how to use various carriers, and talk about the benefits of wearing your baby. We will answer your questions and help with your carriers. There will be plenty of time for you to try on different styles of carriers yourself, with the help of our weighted demo dolls. Children are welcome to attend with their parents.
Experienced or soon-to-be parents of all genders and orientations are welcome. Please bring any carriers that you need help with to the class!

Using cloth diapers is better for the baby, the environment and your wallet. Learn how easy cloth diapering is today–no pins & plastic pants, dunking or soaking. Get a chance to see, touch and learn about the different brands of diapers.
In this class we’ll cover:
Advantages of cloth diapering vs. disposables.
Pros and con of the different diaper “systems,” such as all-in-ones, hybrids, fitted, pockets, prefolds & covers.
Diapering and washing tips.
Costs & purchasing resources.

For many parents, there is nothing more daunting than the first 3 months after bringing baby home. Most new parents take classes to prepare themselves for childbirth, but then there’s a strong sense of “Now what?”
Preparing for Baby answers that question – by helping to prepare you for what to expect in those first weeks and months taking sole care of your new baby. Partners and new babies more than welcome and encouraged!
This 2-hour hands-on class covers baby basics for the first three months and beyond.
